Founded in 2006 by Jason Ross, Show Cobra has partnered with iconic artists, global brands, cable and network channels and award winning advertising agencies to create a wide range of entertainment properties and cross-platform series.

Jason Ross – Owner/ Executive Producer/ Show Runner

Jason Ross has shaped an eclectic career in the entertainment industry over the past 16 years. Beginning as a recording artist and record producer, Jason later transitioned to video, film, and digital media production. He founded Show Cobra in 2006 as boutique creative agency focused on a collaborative range of turnkey production services- including live events, live streaming, original television & web series, and documentary films.

Jason is also the the Head of Media and Sponsorship at The Bowery Presents (www.bowerypresents.com). The Bowery Presents is the leading independent concert promoter in New York City. Jason oversees strategic media partnerships and event sponsorship across all TBP rooms and festivals, and stewards all original content production and programming.

Matt Boyd – Director

Matt Boyd was born in Virginia and grew up in Germany and Tennessee. He has worked extensively as a director, cinematographer and editor in the NY independent documentary and music scenes. His work has been seen worldwide in festivals, art spaces, on television and the web. His directorial works include artists and companies such as Spiritualized, The Flaming Lips, The National, Lambchop, Spoon, Dolly Parton, Grizzly Bear, Converse, Heineken, and IFC. Recent works include the Factory 25 release ALL THE WAY FROM MICHIGAN NOT MARS, BUILDING A BROKEN MOUSETRAP with Jem Cohen, and as editor on David Byrne’s recent SXSW selection RIDE RISE ROAR.

Joseph Van Harken – Executive Producer/ Director/ Show Runner

Joseph Van Harken has worked in nearly all forms of media over the past fifteen years, first as an award winning news journalist and later as a show runner and film director. Currently the EP and developer of MTV’s “My Life as Liz”, Joseph has produced for a wide range of media outlets including: CNN, NBC, History Channel, Travel Channel, Discovery Health, SyFy, A&E, Visa Signature, MTV, The Blue Zones Network and several independent documentaries.

Kate Susman – Supervising Producer

Before joining Show Cobra in 2010, Kate was the Director of Development at Embassy Row, a Sony Pictures Television subsidiary. During her tenure there, she was the show runner for The 9, a groundbreaking daily entertainment news series on Yahoo, and the supervising producer of POPTUB, a daily YouTube series sponsored by Pepsi. As a shooter and producer, Kate’s work has appeared on IFC, VH1, Fuse, BET and MTV and she’s worked closely with a diverse array of brands and agencies.

Bryan Walters – Director of Production

Bryan came to Show Cobra having navigated the waters at MTV Networks for 12 years. There, he worked on large scale productions such as The VMAs, Movie Awards, Icon Awards, Hip Hop Honors, Divas, and Special Events concerts such as Pepsi Smash Superbowl Bash, Save The Music and NKOTB Live from Boston. Some of his favorite work was smaller, more intimate live concert productions such as MTV2 2$ Bill Concert Series (Coldplay, Radiohead, The Beastie Boys and The Killers), Storytellers, and Pink Flash Mob. In addition to live concert filming, he also has produced series, special events and Red Carpets.
